My partner and I are a couple – a homesexual or a gay couple. we just want to be together without hiding all the time. I can’t even tell my family about my relationship and they don’t even know that i’m a gay. I wonder why society isn’t more understanding. why can’t people accept homosexual?

My best friend was just diagnosed with Leukemia, and I’m planning on driving up to New York(where her hospital is) to visit for a few days. I’m 17 years old, and unfortunately my parents are unable to take off work and come with me.
So I was wondering, is there any possible way that they could book a hotel for me, near the hospital without having to be there to sign in, since I’m a minor? What are the rules and regulations on that?
